Box 21 Rescue Squad Graciously Accepts Donations

Read below to see where our donations are put to work:

Unlike other emergency services in town, we do not rely on tax collections for our daily operating expenses and all of our members volunteer their services. Instead, our expenses involve vehicle and equipment purchases and maintenance, training, supplies and the like. What we do rely on is the donations made to us by the residents and businesses of our community.

Each Saturday Box 21 Rescue Squad hosts Bingo, to assist us in the purchase and maintenance of specific high-cost items (such as ambulances and light towers).  Once each year we have a Winter fund drive Direct Mail and a Summer Fund Drive, to cover our other, standard operating expenses. Both of these fund drives are coordinated by members of the Squad, so 100% of the profit received go to benefit our operations.

However, the Box 21 Rescue Squad accepts donations year-round and is very much appreciative for any assistance the community is able to provide to us. We accept donations by mail. While donations are sometimes made simply on the generosity of the giver, many people choose to donate to the Squad to celebrate and remember special events and people in their lives. Other choose to give as thanks for service our members provided to them or their loved ones in their time of need. Still others choose to remember the Squad through bequests in their will.

Box 21 Rescue Squad is registered with the State of Ohio as a charitable organization and donations are tax deductible.
